What is included in the price?

Directly below the room type is a list of what is and what is not included in the room rate. By clicking on the room name you can view the facilities. For example, to see whether breakfast or taxes are included, move the cursor over the text in the 'Conditions' column. This information is also stated in your confirmation email and on "My RouteHotels".

Can I make a reservation without a credit card?

Most hotels require a valid credit card to guarantee your reservation. We do however offer a limited but growing number of hotels, that will guarantee your reservation without with a credit card. You can also use someone else’s card, provided you have their permission. In this case please confirm the card holder’s name and that you have permission to use their card. You can do so in the ‘Special Requests’ box when making your reservation.

How do I know my reservation is confirmed?

As soon as you have completed the reservation process, the confirmation page appears. This page shows all your reservation details, including your reservation number and your pin code. So you are able to access your confirmation online at ‘My RouteHotels’. We also send you a confirmation email with all your reservation details.

Can I cancel or change my reservation?

Yes, it is very simple. You can cancel or change your reservation via our self-service tool ‘My RouteHotels’. Please remember to check the hotel’s cancellation policy before making any changes to your reservation. Non-refundable rooms and other special deals can have different cancellation policies. Specific room cancellation information is stated next to the room type in the column ‘Conditions’.

What is my pin code and what do I need it for?

Your pin code consists of 4 digits and is listed on your reservation confirmation. In combination with your reservation number, you can use this to log in to 'My RouteHotels'. On 'My RouteHotels'; you can view, change or cancel your reservation. It is therefore wise to keep your pin code a secret.

Where can I find the contact details of the accommodation?

After making a reservation you can find all details of the accommodation (including phone number and email address) in your online reservation confirmation. Your confirmation email will also contain this information and lastly you can find the details under Manage Booking.

How do I find the price of a specific accommodation?

Once you have entered your dates of stay, the available accommodation types will be displayed along with their prices. The same accommodation type may have a different price depending on the number of people staying, whether breakfast is included or not, and whether the reservation can be cancelled or not.

I entered my credit card information. When will payment be made?

Payment processing for your stay varies per individual hotel and room type. You can check how you will be charged for your stay under ‘Hotel Policies’, in the room description under ‘Terms and Conditions’ and in your reservation confirmation.

Do I have to pay a deposit or a down payment to the hotel?

Most hotels do not require an advance payment or deposit. If they do, you will find the details under ‘Hotel Policies’ and in your confirmation email.

We have children with us; is it possible to have extra beds/cots placed in the room?

Information regarding children and extra (children's) beds can be found under 'Hotel Policies'. Please note the following:
  • Additional supplements for children, if applicable, are not included in the reservation price.
  • During the online reservation process, please mention your request for an extra (children's) bed in the Special Requests field.
  • If you have already reserved a room, you just need to click on the link in your email confirmation or request an extra bed in 'My RouteHotels'.
  • We recommend that you contact the hotel to confirm your request. The hotel's contact details can be found in your email confirmation.
